Kai Seki Magoroku Akane Gyuto Chef's Knife 180 mm
A gyuto (chef's knife) handles most kitchen jobs: slicing, peeling and chopping meat, fish and vegetables, and its longer blade is ideal for meat. Seki Magoroku Akane series: a three step edge, with the edge shoulders smoothed after sharpening, so the blade meets less resistance and cuts cleanly. Three layer steel: a hard cutting core clad in easy to sharpen stainless, so the knife is both sharp and easy to resharpen. The heat resistant resin handle is dishwasher safe. Made in Japan.

Three layer blade: molybdenum vanadium stainless cutlery steel core, stainless steel cladding. Bolster: stainless steel. Handle: polyacetal (heat resistant to 140 °C), nylon (170 °C). Size: about 44 × 305 × 18 mm, blade about 180 mm, weight about 136 g. Country of manufacture: Japan. Suitable for right and left handed use.
How to use and care
• Dishwasher and dish dryer safe. • Right after use, wash off any food, remove moisture and let the knife dry: dirt and water left on the blade cause rust and discolouration.

How long does shipping take?
Orders ship from Japan by EMS (Japan Post). Delivery time depends on your destination country. You'll get a tracking number as soon as your order ships, so you can follow it the whole way.
