1. Who we are and what we do
Eurasia Japan Co., Ltd. (〒104-0053 Tokyo, Chuo-ku, Harumi 3-6-8, Japan; info@eurasiajp.com) is a Japanese retailer. We buy from Japanese manufacturers, their distributors and Japanese retail stores, and ship from Japan. We check the JAN barcode, packaging and expiry date before dispatch. We are not the manufacturer of the products, not a pharmacy, not a clinic and not a medical or nutritional adviser. Our service is limited to helping you purchase products of the Japanese market and deliver them to your address.
2. Products of the Japanese market
All products are made for sale in Japan. Their packaging, labels, ingredient lists and instructions are in Japanese; the Russian and English texts on our site are translations of the manufacturer's information and are provided for convenience. Products are manufactured under Japanese regulations and have not been assessed by the authorities of your country (for example the FDA in the USA or EFSA in the EU). Dietary supplements (health foods, サプリメント) are foods, not medicines: they are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Statements about supplements on this site repeat the manufacturer's claims permitted in Japan and are not medical claims.
3. Your health is your responsibility
By buying supplements, cosmetics or any other product here you confirm that: • you decide yourself whether a product is suitable for you, and you use it at your own risk; • you will read the manufacturer's directions and warnings and keep to the recommended daily amount; • before use you will consult a doctor or pharmacist if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a chronic condition, take medicines, have allergies, or intend to give the product to a child or an elderly person; • you will check the ingredient list for allergens (supplements often contain soy, milk, gelatin, fish, wheat, shellfish); • you will stop using a product and seek medical help if you notice any adverse reaction. We do not know your health condition and cannot assess it. Nothing on this site is a prescription, a diagnosis or a treatment plan.
4. Daruma is an assistant, not a doctor
Daruma is an automated assistant based on artificial intelligence. Its purpose is to help you find products in our catalogue and explain how the site works. When Daruma describes a product, it repeats the manufacturer's published information (composition, recommended amount, precautions). Daruma: • does not give medical, nutritional or pharmaceutical advice and does not diagnose; • does not recommend what to take for a condition, cannot choose a dosage for you and cannot assess interactions with your medicines; • may be inaccurate or incomplete; always check the packaging and the product page; • is not a substitute for a doctor or pharmacist. Before first use you confirm that you understand this. Do not rely on Daruma for health decisions; consult a healthcare professional.
5. Import into your country
You are the importer of record. You are responsible for checking that the products may be imported into your country for personal use, in what quantity, and for paying any import duties, taxes and fees (for the USA the import duty is collected at checkout; see Delivery Terms). Some countries restrict certain ingredients, sizes or quantities of supplements and cosmetics. If a parcel is stopped, returned or destroyed by the customs of your country for reasons related to your local rules, we are not liable for the loss; where the goods come back to us we handle them under Returns & Claims.
6. Information on the site
We keep descriptions, photos, prices and stock information up to date as far as we can, but errors are possible. Manufacturers may change packaging, composition or volume without notice; the product you receive may differ in appearance from the photo. Prices in currencies other than Japanese yen are shown for convenience; the yen amount is authoritative. Reviews and ratings express customers' personal opinions and are not our statements.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Eurasia Japan Co., Ltd. is not liable for any harm, loss or expense arising from the use or misuse of the products, from reliance on information on this site or on Daruma's answers, from allergic or individual reactions, from interactions with medicines, or from non-compliance of the products with the laws of your country. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the order concerned. Nothing in this notice excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our own negligence, for fraud or wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under the mandatory consumer laws of your country.
8. Age and consent
You must be at least 18 years old to order. When you place an order and when you start using Daruma for the first time, you confirm that you have read this notice, the Terms of Sale, the Shipping, Delivery and Returns terms and the Privacy Policy, and that you accept them. We record the date and version of your consent.
9. Governing law
This notice and our relationship with you are governed by the laws of Japan. If you are a consumer in the EU, the UK or another country whose law grants you rights that cannot be waived, you keep those rights (including a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract where the law provides one). Disputes are settled by negotiation first; otherwise the courts of Tokyo, Japan, have jurisdiction, without prejudice to your right to bring a claim in your own country where the law provides for it.
