Kai Seki Magoroku Wakatake Frozen Food Knife 210 mm

A knife for very hard, cold food: saw-like teeth cut with a back and forth motion. Seki Magoroku Wakatake series: a single layer stainless blade that resists rust and is easy to look after; the heat resistant resin handle means the knife can go in a dishwasher and dish dryer. Made in Japan.

Materials and specifications

Blade: stainless cutlery steel, single layer. Handle: polypropylene (heat resistant to 110 °C), nylon (170 °C). Size: about 28 × 337 × 17 mm, blade about 210 mm, weight about 80 g. Country of manufacture: Japan. Suitable for right and left handed use.

How to use and care

• The knife is for frozen food that has been partly thawed; do not use it for anything else. • The serrated edge cannot be resharpened. • Dishwasher and dish dryer safe. • Right after use, wash off any food, remove moisture and let the knife dry: dirt and water left on the blade cause rust and discolouration.
